Ashley M. McCombs, MA, LPC, NCC - COO
Have you felt distracted lately or an overwhelming sense of dissatisfaction? Do you find yourself constantly thinking about all the things you want to change? Whether you are struggling with a particular issue, or just can not shake the feeling that there should be more to life--you have the power to say: This is not how the story is going to end.
Ashley’s goal as a therapist is to help you find your own current strengths and coping strategies. Together she will work with you to build upon the strategies that work and create new ones to replace those that do not. She believes the solutions to your struggles will be found in your insights, knowledge and self-exploration. Through the examination of who you are and what you believe comes great peace, clarity, and self-confidence. Her goal is to help provide you with the insights & tools you need to grow as an individual.
Her own experiences in life are what fueled her desire to pursue a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University and her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Waynesburg University. She is also recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Currently, she is an adjunct faculty member at Robert Morris University teaching undergraduate courses within the School of Education and Social Sciences Department.
As you begin to embark on this journey, know that you are not alone. Our purpose at My Life Counseling is to stand by you every step of the way.
